Käthe Katrin Wenzel


Käthe Katrin Wenzel, studied art history, English literature and History at Marburg, Florence and Berlin. 1998 Master of Arts at Humboldt-University Berlin, 2003 PhD about "Meat as an art material - objects at the interface of art and medicine" (Berlin, 2005). Her theoretical work as well as her artwork deals with the interface of art and science, of technologies of knowledge and interactivity. She is co-editor of "missing link - art meets biomedicine. Public understanding of art and sciences", Berlin 2006, together with Wolfgang Knapp, Cornelius Froemmel und Thomas Schnalke. She lives in Berlin.
