arttransponder visited JAAGA/Bangalore India for four weeks within the month of July.

JAAGA is a very special independent art initiative in India, which is an art & exchange platform developing own projects but as well gives space to further social, ecological, urban, technological and activists groups. JAAGA fosters cross cultural exchange, the dialoge and integration of the community and project related parties outside the art context as well as the establishment of a critical theoretical dialog and works on local & cross border networks of artists and art  initiatives.

 

arttransponders and Jaagas co-founders met in Bangalore to continue their dialogue which they started 2011 in Berlin . Focus is the exchange about the special situation, chances and problematics of independent art initiatives as well as the development of further ideas for collaborative projects and networking between India and Berlin.
